Roots – Christian Aid Action Day – Leeds – Saturday 4th February 2012

16 – 25yr olds are invited to join Christian Aid on Saturday 4th February at Blenheim Baptist Church, Leeds LS2 9ER for a day of action to tackle the root causes of poverty.

Roots will be an energetic day of campaigning:

- Through fun & creative workshops we will dig to the roots of poverty.
- We will turn our outrage into action to challenge and change these roots.
- We will push Leeds MPs Greg Mulholland and Rachel Reeves (TBC) to use their influence to tackle tax dodging and climate change.
- We will eat together and leave inspired and equipped to continue to struggle to see an end to poverty.

Come and join our collective and be an agent for change. You can start by spreading the word and inviting your friends to Roots!

You will need to register with us to say you are coming. Just send an email to Tom: thughes@christian-aid.org  or ring 0113 244 4764.

The event is free, but places are limited so register now! Roots is for everyone aged 16-25. We will need parental permission from 16 &17 year olds.
