The event is aimed at all workers working with children and young people on a paid or voluntary basis and those with responsibility for children and youth work provision.
The session will provide you with a practical framework for ensuring that church activities with children and young people are safe.
By the end of the session you will:
- have information about safe volunteer recruitment
- have a framework for setting up activities safely
- understand what to do if you are concerned about adult behaviour towards children and young people
- have identified challenges of new technology
- know where and how to access resources to support your work with children and young people
